Description
This testbook contains forty 10 or 20 minute tests covering a variety of cloze styles. The tests give practice in the cloze techniques contained in 11+ Verbal Reasoning Year 5-7 CEM Style Workbook 1. Cloze questions require the ability to understand context and vocabulary in order to identify missing words or parts of words.
Each test should take about 10 or 20 minutes, however it is more important that a child completes the test accurately and does not rush their answers. Children will speed up naturally with practice. The testbook provides practice for the CEM 11+ exams and is also useful preparation for 11+ GL Assessment Style English tests and other school entrance exams. The testbook is designed to be used in conjunction with the 11+ Verbal Reasoning Year 5-7 CEM Style workbooks as an additional learning tool. After completion, the testpacks should be used for final exam preparation. Answers, Progress Charts and a Certificate of Achievement are included at the end of the book. All our materials have been rigorously classroom tested. The methodologies have been successfully used in AE Tuition classes for over 20 years.
