Yorkshire's summer of 2019 was a mixed campaign, with no trophies to celebrate, disappointment in the two limited overs trophies but signs of progression in the County Championship. Since the White Rose narrowly missed out on a third successive four-day crown in 2016, the word transition has often been used when talking of the squad's progression. Now, looking ahead to 2020, the coaching staff and players are confident that the transitional period is coming to a close and silverware should hopefully not be too far away. Away from the domestic scene, England provided us with moments we will never forget - a home World Cup triumph and victory in arguably the greatest ever Headingley Test Match.
